Matt has spent over twelve years working in theatre and special events. Driven by a passion for live music and technology, Matt began his professional career working at Village Roadshow. He thrived in the technically diverse environment that is any theme park, and developed a broad range of skills as a Lighting Technician, Systems Designer and Console Operator. 

Moving to Sydney in 2017 to fill a technical lighting position at the Sydney Opera House, Matt further honed his skills to exceed the venue’s standard of extremely fast-paced, detail-orientated, and flawless productions. 

Since moving into the freelance market, Matt’s credits include Programmer for Agatha Christie’s The Mousetrap (Australia), Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat (Australia), Madama Butterfly - Handa Opera on Sydney Harbour 2023, Mamma Mia! The Musical (Australia), Grease The Musical (Australia), and Dear Evan Hansen (Australia).
